Santa Rosa native, T.L. Tabor, has released the latest installment of her “Death, Diamonds and Dirty Socks” children’s series with “Vessel of Safety: Book Six.”

In this magical series, the adventures of 13-year-old Jarod Dailey begin in “Priceless Inheritance: Book One,”  when Jarod inherits an old pair of shoes and socks from his wealthy grandfather. With his best friend, Tommy, they figure out that the socks are magic, allowing the wearer to put on anyone’s shoes and connect with them—even if they are no longer alive. A bit more sleuthing, and they find out that Grandpa’s mansion holds all sorts of magical items left behind for the family.

However, Jarod and Tommy are not the only ones who know about these items. The boys are faced with protecting Grandpa’s heirlooms from otherworld thieves, and the magic socks are just the item to help them do so.

In “Vessel of Safety: Book Six,” Jarod and Tommy’s story continues, this time as they fight to protect a ring that can control the demons of the world. With the magic socks and shoes, as well as a few new friends, the teens risk their lives to ensure the ring stays out of the hands of those who wish to use it for harm.

T.L Tabor, now a resident of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, began the story of Jarod and the magic socks in 2015. The first book in the series is now available for free at her website. Find all her books at  www.tltaborbooks.com.
