Book Faire PosterFollowing the November election, it will be tempting to hide away and lick your post-election wounds. However, healing can be found by getting out and being among friends, and what better way than at a gathering of local authors and readers?

On Thursday, Nov. 10, from 6-9 p.m., the first annual West Sonoma Book Faire will feature author readings, autographed books, a book raffle and more. Those who dress as their favorite author can enter to win a prize for best costume. There will also be a polenta bar, and wine and hot cider.

This event is sponsored and hosted by the Sebastopol Grange, Michele Anna Jordan (Press Democrat’s food writer and blogger at “Eat This Now”) and gardening author Robert Kourik.
