J.B. Grant, an author from Graton, recently released the 2nd edition of his second novel, “Summer Squall on the Grand Strand.”
The story follows 12-year-old Jim Harbison in the 1950s in coastal South Carolina. The region is on the verge of a significant change, as is Jim and the community he lives in. Told over the span of a few summers, innocence is slowly brushed aside in favor of the realities of growing up.
J.B. Grant is also the author of “The Unamericans in Paris,” as well as a half dozen nonfiction books.
This novel is available in print at Amazon and Google Books.
